LFW AW15-16 review in THE UPCOMING

"The Rohmir woman is enchanting. She is glamorous, elegant and bold, ready to take on the world one diamond at a time, and it’s no surprise when you glance at founder and creative director Olga Roh. Previously a model, aristocrat and most recently a baroness, the 45-year-old is accustomed to an opulent lifestyle, and her latest collection is a definite nod to the lavish world of parties and events..."

Fashion Capital review of our AW15-16 show

What was immediately apparent, assisted by the conspicuously mature, womanly models with confidence, attitude and curves to back it up, was a collection aimed at the sophisticated woman who is knows what she is and unafraid to show it.
Lots of jacquard and capes framed this collection that included simple singular wool pieces, coats with art work prints, and mini-themed styles reproduced as skirts, dresses and ballgowns, using the same lace, jacquard styling. Wool and silk fabrics were combined, with sculpted cut-aways on the back and lower spine on some woollen dresses.
A jacquard cape with wool shoulder top, followed by light grey, soft wool sweater with red trim and seductive split sides, worn as dress. A number of two-piece outfits; 50s/60s style fitted skirts and jackets in monochrome were completed with beehive hairstyles and snakeskin patterns on the tops.
The ballgown style dresses embraced the opportunity to use more fabric, more lace, and jacquard and one black floor-length figure hugging dress with blue sequins shimmered to delightful effect.
The collection danced between different periods and styles, Spanish matador high-waisted leather pants, contrasted with a black airline pilot styled suit with red 'pilot' trim on the mid-arm and pockets, with a satin shawl collar dinner suit finish. Eclectic and unashamedly feminine.

GENTLE
Beautifully restrained silhouettes capture a vintage flavour with a hint of 1930's and '40s cinema, but are firmly placed in a contemporary setting. Mid-calf length items are drawn in at the waist, then released into a softly flared shape, enhancing feminine curves.
